Clay Broughton – Commercial Production Coordinator & Senior Producer
Clay just missed the Bi-Centennial celebration in 1976, born just a few weeks after that big 4th of July in Sikeston, Mo. He graduated from Jefferson City’s Helias High School in 1995; Alma mater of Professional Golfer, John Daly. Since he didn’t share Daly’s flair for fashion, or his back swing, he went into broadcasting. Over the last dozen years Clay has gone from on air talent to production wizard and Joined Learfield Sports in May of 2006.
Besides working on commercial production for the networks, he is also floor wrangler for the stable of broadcast producers and assistants on game days. He could do it all on skates if wanted, as he is a USA Hockey certified Goaltending Coach for the Jefferson City Capitals.
Clay is currently completing a history degree from Columbia College and in his spare time he enjoys cooking, reading, backpacking, playing hockey and coaching hockey. He also knows everything… yes everything, about the WHO. (The rock band, not the World Health Organization.)
